In the heart of Basti Bhutta, a small village in Rajanpur, Punjab, nine-year-old Bisma Bibi’s life was once confined to the agricultural fields where her father labors tirelessly to make ends meet. Growing up in a family of six with extremely limited resources, Bisma spent her days helping her parents in the fields, never daring to imagine a different future.
That all changed in November 2023 when she joined Abdul Kareem Qureshi Memorial School, a TAKMIL initiative bringing education to children in underserved areas. Bisma’s world began to transform as she discovered her love for learning. Today, she’s a proud fourth-grader, captivated by the wonders of Mathematics and eager to master every lesson.
But Bisma’s dreams don’t stop at the classroom. She envisions a future where she becomes a scientist, unlocking new possibilities not just for herself but for every girl in her village. Her determination and curiosity are infectious, inspiring hope in a community where education once seemed out of reach.
