In the village of Gullu Shah, District Bajaur, KPK, 14-year-old Ehsanullah is lighting the path toward a brighter future. Born into a farming family, Ehsanullah grew up helping his father in the fields, supporting their livelihood in a community where poverty, limited educational access, and unemployment are everyday struggles. His father, working tirelessly in agriculture to provide for his family of seven, hoped for more opportunities for his children. However, in a village where most children’s only path to learning was the local Madarsa, formal education seemed like an unreachable dream.
When TAKMIL opened Shaheed Adnan Hussain School B in 2019, Ehsanullah seized the opportunity. Transitioning from fieldwork and Madarsa to an academic classroom, he joined as a student in Grade 8 and quickly showed exceptional dedication to his studies. Today, Ehsanullah is flourishing academically, inspiring his siblings and peers to follow the path of education. His commitment to learning not only underscores his strength but also showcases his determination to break free from the limitations imposed by poverty and lack of resources.
Through TAKMIL, Ehsanullah has found more than an education; he’s found hope and direction for a better life. His dream is to continue his studies, eventually helping uplift his family and village from the constraints of poverty. Ehsanullah’s journey exemplifies the power of education to transform lives and uplift entire communities—one student at a time.
