Mudasira Batool: A Future Teacher in the Making From Gilgit Baltistan

At just 8 years old, Mudasira Batool carries a heart full of dreams and a spirit shaped by responsibility. The eldest of three siblings, she lives in Akhon Colony, Gilgit-Baltistan, where life revolves around the seasons, the soil, and the quiet resilience of families like hers.

Before joining TAKMIL, Mudasira’s life was woven into the rhythm of the fields. Each day, she worked alongside her parents in agriculture, helping them support the household. Education, beyond the walls of the Madarsa where her father served as a Muallim, seemed like a distant hope. She learned to recite the Qur’an, but her curiosity stretched far beyond.

In 2023, that hope became a reality when Mudasira enrolled in Shaheed Mujtaba TAKMIL School. From those first steps into a classroom, she began a remarkable journey—balancing her responsibilities at home with her passion for learning.

Today, Mudasira is in Grade 5, Level 11. She studies with determination, helps her mother with chores, and supports her younger brothers—who are now also students at the same TAKMIL school.

But what makes Mudasira’s story truly special is her dream:
📚 “I want to be a teacher one day—just like the ones who are teaching me. I want to teach both Islamic and regular subjects to the children of my village.”

She envisions a future where faith and education walk hand in hand, where girls like her can rise from fields to frontlines of change—armed with knowledge, confidence, and compassion.

💡 Mudasira reminds us that when girls are given access to education, they don’t just learn—they lead.
