In the remote village of Basti Tambeli, District Kohlu, Balochistan, where generations lived in the mountains unaware of education, young Ghazi Khan was destined to follow the same path as his ancestors—spending his days as a shepherd, tending to livestock.
For years, education was an unfamiliar concept in his family. His elders had never seen a classroom, and neither had he—until one day, a teacher named Muhammad Shareef knocked on his door. With unwavering dedication, Sir Shareef introduced TAKMIL’s mission and the opportunity to change Ghazi’s future forever.
On November 11, 2023, TAKMIL opened a school in Basti Tambeli. With great curiosity and determination, Ghazi stepped into a classroom for the first time, leaving behind his old way of life. He quickly developed a passion for learning, passing his Package A (Primary) syllabus with excellence. Today, he and his fellow students are thriving, studying through hands-on, activity-based learning under the Package C syllabus.
But Ghazi’s journey doesn’t stop here. Inspired by his teacher’s dedication, he now dreams of becoming a teacher like Sir Muhammad Shareef, determined to uplift his community and ensure that no child in his village remains without an education.
TAKMIL didn’t just give him books; it gave him a new vision for life. From a shepherd in the mountains to an aspiring teacher, Ghazi Khan’s story is proof that education can rewrite destinies.
