In the remote village of Kaccha Kakar, District Rajanpur, a 10-year-old boy named Muhammad Bilal spent his days in a welding shop, not by choice, but by circumstance. With no school in his village, education was never an option for Bilal or the other children around him. Instead, he and his nine siblings lived a life without direction, helping their father in the fields and learning skills for survival rather than knowledge for the future.
But everything changed in December 2024 when TAKMIL opened a school in his village. It was more than just a building with books—it was a gateway to hope. Bilal and his younger brother were among the first students to step into this new world of learning.
Once completely unaware of education, Bilal can now proudly introduce himself in both English and Urdu. He has discovered a passion for learning, especially solving mathematics questions, and dreams of becoming a teacher so that he can give back to his village and guide other children like him toward a purposeful life.
TAKMIL has given Bilal a new path, transforming him from a boy working in a welding shop into a student with big dreams and a bright future.
