In the quiet fields of Model Town Manawala, District Sheikhupura, a 13-year-old girl named Mehwish Falak has spent most of her life surrounded by hardship—and unshakable hope.

Mehwish’s father, battling hepatitis and burdened with the responsibility of supporting four children, works tirelessly in agriculture. Her mother, too, labors alongside him under the harsh sun. Even as they struggled to put food on the table, Mehwish held onto one wish that seemed impossible: to go to school.

Before 2021, there was no school in her village. Each day, she would watch other children pass by on their way to classrooms miles away—an opportunity she knew her family could never afford. Yet she never let go of her dream.

Everything changed when the Shaheed School opened in her village. For the first time, Mehwish walked into a classroom with her own books and a teacher who believed in her. She discovered the joy of learning English, the excitement of activity-based lessons, and the wonder of watching educational videos that brought the world into her tiny village.

Today, Mehwish is not just a student—she is a beacon of resilience. She dreams of becoming a doctor, determined to return hope to families like hers who struggle in silence. Her message to every child echoes with conviction:
